Which EFT Course Should You Choose?
We offer a variety of EFT Workshops, from beginner courses for self-help right through to certificated practitioner training. Whatever your level of experience, we have a training course just for you! The right route for your EFT training will depend on your goal with EFT and your previous experience.
Option 1 - I want to be a fully qualified EFT Practitioner
If you want to attain a professional EFT qualification and to become certified as an EFT practitioner, your starting point will be the "Introduction To EFT" workshop. To be eligible for this workshop, you should already be an experienced practitioner in the field of physical, mental or emotional health.
This workshop is also the gateway to the full ACEP EFT Certification program. Further details of the program can be found here.
Option 2 - I want to be a fully qualified EFT Practitioner BUT I have no experience in healthcare
In the UK & Ireland, it is possible to become insured to offer professional EFT services to the public after having attended a couple of EFT weekend workshops. It is our position that there are many ethical issues around this, especially when many potential EFT clients are very vulnerable and may even be severely traumatised. We believe that anyone who proposes to offer emotional healthcare should do so within their own scope of professional practice.
If you are keen to start learning EFT, an "EFT For Self-help" workshop is the ideal starting point. You will learn what it feels like to experience EFT from the inside in the same way that your future EFT clients will experience it. At the same time, you should look to become qualified in some other modality such as counselling, coaching or hypnotherapy so that your scope of practice is clearly defined.
If you are in a hurry to become an EFT Practitioner, the depth and thoroughness of our EFT training courses are unlikely to meet your needs.
Option 3 - I'm interested in EFT for self-help only
If you have no experience in healthcare or you do not have enough experience for the "Introduction To EFT" workshop, you can register for the "EFT For Self-help" workshop. This course provides a thorough grounding in the fundamental principles of EFT. Trainees will be shown how to use the techniques for their own issues, and how to work with family and friends in a non-professional capacity.

ACEP is the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology. ACEP is an international nonprofit organization that seeks to establish the credibility and effectiveness of energy psychology through its programs of certification, education, ethics, humanitarian aid and research.
