About Helen
Helen is an internationally recognised EFT expert, writer and training consultant. She has taught EFT in the USA, the UK and Europe, and her training courses in Scotland attract delegates from around the world.
Helen is also ACEP's Lead EFT Trainer in the UK & Europe. ACEP (Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology) provide the professional EFT Certification program referred to on Gary Craig's Emofree web site.
Helen has long been passionate about energy work and quickly understood its enormous importance in the treatment of all kinds of problems, emotional and physical.
After six years of extensive study, this passion led her to launch the Energy Psychology network in 2005, one of the first forums in the world for enthusiasts of EFT and all other forms of energy psychology. She continued to manage this service to the EFT community until the launch of Gary Craig's EFT forums on the original Emofree site.
EFT Qualifications
- ACAP-EFT
- The ACEP Certified Advanced Practitioner award (ACAP-EFT) is currently the highest level of qualification available in the new EFT Certification program. Helen was the first person in the world to be awarded this status.
- EFT Cert-Honors
- This was the highest designation available in Gary Craig's EFT Certification program prior to his retirement in January 2010. Helen is one of only 30 people to have been awarded this qualification by Gary.
- EFT Master
- This title was automatically awarded to holders of Gary Craig's Cert-Honors by EFT Universe, the organisation granted permission to house the archives of EFT when Gary retired.
- EFT Trainer of Trainers
- Helen was appointed as a trainer of EFT trainers by the AAMET (Association for the Advancement of Meridian Energy Therapies). She resigned from this position to take up the post of Lead EFT Trainer with ACEP.
- EFT Advanced Practitioner
- Prior to Gary Craig's EFT training certification, Helen was awarded Advanced Practitioner status by the AMT (2005) and the AAMET (2006)

Helen is also a qualified HeartMath trainer, and is licensed to deliver the 'Resilient Educator' training course to schools throughout Scotland. In addition, as a Reiki Master, Helen is 7th in line to Dr Usui, the creator of Reiki practice. She is one of a very small number of UK Masters who teach Reiki in the spirit of its Japanese origins.
The ultimate theme of Helen's work is the pursuit of personal peace through a spiritual discipline. Using both Buddhist principles and "A Course in Miracles" as the basis of her approach, she believes that energy techniques such as EFT are key in helping to clear the blocks that obscure our awareness of Love in the world.
Her work includes running EFT-based spiritual retreats in Scotland for anyone interested in learning how to use energy work for spiritual growth. She is also planning several related projects in the near future.
Having successfully undertaken an MA (Literature) and a BSc (Pure Maths), Helen initially became a school teacher before going on to become a senior trainer and training designer with international technology companies such as Orange and PolicyMaster.
At the same time, she began her own journey of personal development, discovering tools like tapping and Reiki on the way. She founded her own business, Inner Energy, in January 2003 and now dedicates herself to sharing what she has learned with others.
Helen's focus is on the use of EFT for spiritual issues and she maintains a small case-load of private clients amidst her teaching schedule.
